About Incisive Era

Engineer-Led Identity & Access Work

Incisive Era is an independent identity and access engineering practice in Broomfield, Colorado. You work directly with the engineer doing the work, not an account manager.

Who You'd Work With

Enrique Carranco, principal engineer. 20 years in enterprise DevOps, systems automation and site reliability engineering, now focused on identity and access for growing companies and the MSPs that serve small businesses.

Incisive Era is based in Broomfield, Colorado, and works with clients across the Denver metro and remotely.

An SRE's Approach to Identity

Most identity setups are built by hand, one ticket at a time, until nobody is sure who has access to what. Site reliability engineering solved the same problem for infrastructure years ago: put the configuration in code, review every change, and make the result repeatable.

We apply that to identity. Users, groups, policies and app connections are managed through the JumpCloud API and scripts, so every environment is documented, every change is reviewable, and offboarding finishes the same way every time.

Principles We Hold To

SCOPE

Fixed Scope, Fixed Price

Every project starts with a written statement of work, so you know the cost and the finish line before work begins.

OWNERSHIP

You Own Everything

Admin accounts, configuration and scripts live in your systems. You finish with a runbook and our access is removed.

FOCUS

We Stay in Our Lane

Identity and access only. Helpdesk, patching, backups, firewalls and compliance programs stay with your team, your MSP or your vCISO.

Direct or Through Your MSP

Direct

For Companies with In-House IT

Organizations of roughly 25 to 250 people whose IT staff need an identity specialist for a defined project.

Through Your MSP

For MSPs and Their Clients

Small offices without IT staff, served white-label, under the MSP's brand.

Bring Us the Identity Project on Your Backlog

Tell us who you are and we'll set up a technical scoping call: no sales pitch, just an engineer looking at the problem.
